Presentation of the
CAA George A. Weinstock Award
Tony Smith, Security Finance Associates
Tony Smith will receive the CAA George A. Weinstock Award at the CAA Tribute Dinner on Friday, December 12, 2008. His leadership and service to our industry through his work with associations on the local and state level has contributed greatly to building the foundation that we all stand upon today. Ron Spiller will serve as Master of Ceremonies for a memorable evening of tribute to Tony Smith for his decades of service to the industry and associations. The funds raised from the event and tribute book sponsorship support the ongoing educational, legislative and outreach programs of the CAA.

Industry Incorrect: In All My Years…
Breakfast Buffet 8:45 a.m. Panel Discussion 9:15 – 10 a.m.
Join your colleagues for the closing event of the convention and listen in to the panel as they discuss the issues and challenges in our industry today. Alan Pepper is the moderator of this entertaining and informative program.

Northland Sea Scouts: Bay Cruise
Cruise 11:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.
This optional special event includes a personalized tour of the San Francisco bay with the Sea Scouts. Lunch is included and you will have the opportunity to tour the ship and be captain of the ship. Donation suggested to the Northland Sea Scout program.

NAPA Valley Culinary Institute: Wine Spectator Restaurant
Tour, Lunch and Winery Visit 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
This optional event begins with a luxury bus ride to St. Helena in the Napa Valley with a four-course gourmet lunch at the Wine Spectator Restaurant at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Visit the spectacular culinary store for holiday shopping then a stop at a local winery before returning to the hotel. Cost is $75 per person and includes transportation and lunch.
